Churches to Re-Open:

We are delighted to announce that the Mizen Parishes Churches will re-open for Mass from Monday 29th June.

In line with HSE best practice the following guidelines will be in place.

(1) Be guided by signage and stewards.

(2) Sanitise hands at entrance and exit.

(3) Follow the one-way path.

(4) Maintain social distancing.

(5) Pews where people may sit are marked with a green tick.

(6) People living in the same household may share a pew.

(7)The Sign of Peace is suspended .

(8) You are asked to receive Holy Communion in the hand.

(9)Collections will be taken up as you leave.

(10)Please take your missalette home with you.

The capacity of Churches decreases with social distancing. During the Covid-19 pandemic and until further notice, we encourage parishioners, where possible, to join us at one of our weekday Masses. Some parishioners, especially the vulnerable, may choose to join in prayer from home

We are grateful for the support of the people who sanitise the church after each Mass.

Mass times in Schull, Monday and Friday 10.00am and Sunday 10.30.

Mass times in Ballydehob, Wednesday 10.00 am and Sunday 9.30.

Goleen Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00am and Sunday 12.00.

Lowertown Vigil Mass 8.00pm Saturday evening.
