Mizen Parish

We invite you to gather with us in St Mary’s Church Schull tomorrow Sunday May 18th at 10.30am , when we will pray in a special way for all our young people preparing for state examinations. Let us remember them in our prayers over the next few weeks. Refreshments available in the hall after Mass.

    Congratulations to the  girls and boys (19 in total) of  Scoil  Mhuire National School, who celebrated their First Holy Communion on  today Saturday May 3rd. Thanks to their teacher Mr Shane O Neill & the school choir for making it such a happy & memorable occasion.

Confirmation will be held in Goleen & Ballydehob on Thursday March 6th. It will be held in Schull on Thursday March 13th. First Holy Communion will be held in Schull on Saturday May 3rd & in Ballydehob on Saturday May 24th.    

In recent years the christmas carol service involving all the choirs of the parish has been a high point in parishioners christmas preparation.
